Tuscany - Maremma (wine seminar)

Historically, Maremma is a former marshland in the south of Tuscany and neighboring Lazio, where malaria was rampant until 100 years ago. In terms of viticulture, it is a kind of revelation, because in the last 30 years, in addition to the cult wines Sassicaia and Ornellaia, a whole series of remarkable wines with completely new characteristics have been created here. The wine seminar presents wines from the Maremma, from entry-level wines to Supertuscans. Enjoy the flair of Tuscan wines, which almost always have something to do with the Sangiovese grape variety, sometimes on their own, sometimes in combination with Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot.
