SWR1 POP & POETRY

Pop & Poesie's new show is completely dedicated to the "Power of Love", with many hits that have never been on the program before. As usual, the band performs the songs in the original language, lovingly rearranged and perfectly staged. With the German translations, the actors impressively convey the many ways in which love is expressed in the greatest hits of all time. The evening will be hosted by SWR1 presenter Jochen Stöckle.

Especially in times like these, it is the most important and strongest force: love. "The Power of Love" is also THE inspiration for great lyrics in pop music. Lyrics about love for life, for nature, about love for people and, of course, romantic love.
