Sisters of Comedy - Laughs to Remember

At a time when we once again have to discuss women’s rights and freedom of speech, when right-wing sentiment is growing stronger worldwide, and when a very conservative view of women is being promoted once again even in Western cultures, female comedians are going on the offensive!
The event promises an evening full of humorous diversity, far removed from jokes about retail therapy and connective tissue—no “women’s quota” gala, no bashing of men, just a spectacular show by women for everyone!
Sisters of Comedy takes place once a year on many different stages simultaneously, and each show donates a portion of the ticket proceeds to local women’s aid projects while taking a stand against sexism and for equality.

**Laura Braun**, the eloquent artist from Freiburg, ventures into the darkest moments of her own life story with her unmistakable voice and incisive piano playing. An evening with Laura Braun is an emotional roller coaster ride that stirs the soul, brings reconciliation, and lingers in the mind for days to come.
**Lisa Christ** from Zurich is feminist, incisive, and mercilessly honest. The cabaret artist, satirist, and author dissects the ideals of our time with lightning speed and razor-sharp precision, charmingly getting to the heart of current and political issues in everyday life.
**Karo Bender** offers insights into the dark corners of society and prefers to serve up uncomfortable truths cold. She’s here to shatter worldviews and show the world as it really is: dirty, merciless, and hilarious.
