Whether on the right or the left, an “old white man” or a young “woke” woman, a cargo bike enthusiast or an anti-vaxxer: we’re united in our fear of a bleak future.
But Sarah Bosetti isn’t in the mood for fear and gloom. And she has a better idea! If we don’t like the future as it’s being portrayed, then we should paint a brighter one and work toward it. If no one feels like dealing with democracy anymore, we shouldn’t give it up—we should make it better.
