A good two years ago, RIAN was still a newcomer - albeit a hotly traded one - who attracted attention with his first songs in German. "Schwarzes Schaf" went viral in 2023 and provided a foretaste of the breakthrough of the indie artist, who is scoring points everywhere with his contemporary and unpainful mainstream compatibility

And: RIAN is anything but a one-hit wonder! His German-language indie pop, combined with smart comedy and social and political relevance for a good cause - danceable at full throttle, deep, (self-)critical and always empathetic - has delivered a number of very successful singles in quick succession. The pop line from the feet to the heart to the head has rarely felt so right.

In 2024, RIAN landed a veritable hit with "Verwandtschaftstreffen" from the EP of the same name: it reached number 1 in the Austrian Shazam charts, the Austria Viral Charts and the Ö3-Austro charts. The song was awarded gold and platinum in Austria and is on heavy rotation on the biggest radio stations, has over 37 million streams and won an incredible three Amadeus Austrian Music Awards in 2025!

On the tour for the EP, the hit, but above all his reputation as an excellent live entertainer, brought him full houses: After a completely sold-out "Verwandtschaftstreffen Tour 2025" - all DE dates were completely sold out including rescheduled and additional shows - and a tour finale in Vienna with over 3,000 fans, further sold-out reports followed for the spring tour '26.

Just in time for the sold-out ride, which will take him to a different city in DE, AT & CH almost every day for two weeks in February and March, the Austrian's first album "Blumendisko" will be released - go on, please - of course also on vinyl, already available for pre-order!!!
