A Franco-German Duo Recital
The Goethe-Institut Freiburg is pleased to welcome the duo Ambre Palusci (violin) and Lukas Keck (piano) on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
Set against the backdrop of German Romanticism and French musical artistry, this concert brings together three masterpieces of sonata literature. The duo Ambre Palusci and Lukas Keck invites you on a musical journey where different cultural languages, aesthetics, and forms of expression come together and enrich one another. The result is a program that builds musical bridges between France and Germany. At the heart of it all is always dialogue—between two instruments, two musical traditions, and two young musicians who bring this encounter to life together.
Following her successful training at the Conservatoire de Metz, French violinist Ambre Palusci has been studying with Gottfried von der Goltz at the Freiburg College of Music since 2021. The multi-award-winning musician from the Vosges has already performed internationally in Europe, China, and India and is in high demand both as a chamber musician and as a soloist. Lukas Keck is studying piano and accompaniment/collaborative piano at the College of Music in Freiburg under Prof. Nicholas Rimmer. The multi-award-winning pianist from Tübingen gained important musical insights through master classes led by renowned artists. Both artists are scholarship recipients of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e. V. Freiburg.
Following the concert, there will be an opportunity to chat with the artists over a glass of wine.
