Ralf Schmid & Soil Music Collective

Ralf Schmid celebrates the premiere of his “Soil Music Collective”!
The internationally renowned pianist, composer, and jazz professor at the Freiburg University of Music is coming to the E-Werk event rooms with an extraordinary lineup. Together, they create a sonic celebration full of movement, tranquility, diversity, subtle nuances, and vibrant energy.

Their “Soil Music” goes beneath the surface, deep into the earth; it draws inspiration from the soil—our shared common ground—and celebrates it, bringing forth sounds that ground us, connect us, and inspire us. Blending meditative soundscapes, organic grooves, and danceable beats, they create a captivating sonic experience for our turbulent times—open, moving, and full of possibilities.
