RÄTSEL-HAFT combines the classic escape room experience with professional acting, creating a particularly immersive recreational experience right in the heart of Freiburg. The carefully staged game worlds draw on themes and stories from Freiburg’s city history, blurring the lines between puzzle games and theater.
In two lovingly designed themed rooms, participants work together to solve tricky puzzles, decipher clues, and immerse themselves in an exciting storyline for about 75 minutes. Creativity, communication, and team spirit are essential. No prior knowledge or special physical abilities are required.
A particularly distinctive feature of RÄTSEL-HAFT is the involvement of professional actors and actresses, who actively become part of the story and greatly enhance the experience. This creates an authentic atmosphere that appeals to both escape room newcomers and experienced puzzle enthusiasts.
The venue is located in a rear building on Bertoldstraße in downtown Freiburg, just a few minutes’ walk from the main train station. Tram stops such as Stadttheater and Bertold's Fountain are in the immediate vicinity.
