After the split of Germany's Pink Floyd Tribute No. 1 echoes, former members Oliver Hartmann, Martin Hofmann, Markus Nanz and other ex-musicians are now reviving the legacy of the original as a newly formed tribute under a new name and bringing the unique live experience to the stage in a new and fresh way!

Pink Floyd is a phenomenon in rock history - anyone who has ever experienced them live will probably be filled with this unique sound and experience for the rest of their lives. The band around David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Rick Wright and Nick Mason created absolute milestones with their albums such as "Dark side of the moon", "Wish you were here" and "The Wall", which have become an integral part of recent music history. Carrying on this legacy is the mission to which the German band PULSE has dedicated itself. The members of the newly formed band are very familiar with the material and have played many thousands of concerts in half of Europe.
At hundreds of concerts, exceptional guitarist/singer Oliver Hartmann (ex-AVANTASIA, ex-ROCK MEETS CLASSIC), bassist Martin Hofmann and keyboardist Markus Nanz have formed the basis of the band Echoes. In addition to their live shows, they have also made a name for themselves far beyond Germany with the unique acoustic tour and release "Barefoot To The Moon" (DVD 2015 Media Charts #20) and the production "Live From The Dark Side" with guests Michael Sadler (SAGA), Midge Ure (ULTRAVOX), Claude Leonetti (LAZULI) and Geoff Tate (ex-QUEENSRYCHE). The acoustic concert series is also being continued very successfully by PULSE under the name "Acoustic Side Of The Moon". Together with their long-standing string quartet from Prague, they went on tour again in January 2026 with ten Germany-wide shows in concert halls and theaters, some of which were sold out.
In addition to the new French drummer Sébastien Angrand, singers Carolin Riehemann, Ilka Müller and Jessica Conte as well as saxophonists Gernot Dechert, Lee Mayall and others remain in the new line-up. The technical team Matthias Wolbert, Dominik Herderich and Damir Klaushofer, who have worked together perfectly for years, will also remain.
Even if the changes seem subtle, PULSE has clearly set itself the task of convincing and inspiring its audience and Pink Floyd fans with a completely renewed program and an upgraded stage show. Under the motto "The Best of Pink Floyd", the audience can look forward to a great live concert with special moments!
The new CD "Live At Warehouse 7" has also been available since the end of 2024. Recorded at their sold-out premiere in spring 2024, the band offers a cross-section of almost all creative phases of the British prog icons with great enthusiasm and at the highest level.
