The 41st annual conference of the German Society for Music Psychology is dedicated to one of the central topics of music research. Active music-making faces opportunities and challenges in view of the diversity of globally available music, technical developments and differentiated reception possibilities. There will be contributions on three thematic perspectives:
(1) questions of music-psychological interpretation research, including expertise and expressivity,
(2) socio-psychological dimensions of music-making in ensembles or with regard to transfer and pedagogy,
(3) the influence of AI and hybrid instruments on human music-making and the experience of agency and liveness.
As always, there will also be free contributions on other topics. The Doc. workshop will take place on September 11 and 12.
