The audience listens spellbound as words become images and punchlines hit the heart. Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes profound or hilarious - almost anything is possible at a poetry slam!

Whether rhymed texts, spontaneous anecdotes, political statements or philosophical musings - the stage belongs to the poets and their self-written works. They have seven minutes to convince the audience. Without props, but with plenty of emotion, creativity and wit.

Presenter Ansgar Hufnagel invites word artists from Freiburg, the region and the German-speaking world - and the audience decides who wins.
