On tour with Wanja Mues, Antoine Monot and beatboxer Marvelin from fall 2025
Two audience favorites and a cult figure: Antoine Monot ("Behringer und die Toten", "Ein Fall für zwei") and Wanja Mues ("Ein Fall für zwei") will bring the live radio play "Pater Brown" to the stage from autumn 2025. They will be supported by Marvelin, one of the most sought-after beatboxers in the German-speaking world, who will create the entire world of sounds live - from church bells to gusts of wind.
The audience can expect an exciting evening full of twists and turns, puzzling fun and unique sound design. Two gripping cases will be staged to kick things off:
o "The Blue Cross" - a cat-and-mouse game between Father Brown, master thief Flambeau and a brilliant detective.
o "The Falling Brothers" - a dark family drama about guilt, arrogance and a deadly secret.
"We wanted to make Chesterton's cases as tangible as they are: exciting crime thrillers to puzzle over - modern, approachable and with a sound that gets under your skin," says Wanja Mues.
Known from the ZDF long-running hit "Ein Fall für zwei" with an average of 4.5 million viewers, Monot and Mues are appearing live on stage for the first time.
The cult character Father Brown was already popularized by Heinz Rühmann and Ottfried Fischer - now it is experiencing a modern, interactive revival with Monot, Mues and Marvelin.
