Open Air Techno Festival

The Echo Fields Festival is an independent open-air festival for electronic music in Freiburg im Breisgau, located between the districts of St. Georgen and Leutersberg in a natural setting with views of the surrounding vineyards and Schönberg mountain. After a successful first edition, the festival will take place for the second time in 2026. The project is entirely self-financed and is organized by a local team drawn from the Freiburg music and culture scene. The aim of the festival is to bring together people from the Freiburg, Basel and border triangle region and create a platform for electronic music and cultural exchange.

Musically, the focus is on techno, trance, groove and house, presented by local and regional artists. The festival deliberately focuses on an intimate open-air setting that combines music, nature and community and creates a special atmosphere away from large commercial events. With several stages, a day rave concept and additional events around the festival, Echo Fields sees itself as a creative cultural project for the regional electronic music scene.
