Olszewski's Whiplash
fundwerk Laboratory for Mask and Puppet Theater
Viktor “Olli” Olszewsky has been living and working in his laundromat for many years. When, after an intense workweek, the shop doors are closed and his own laundry is spinning in the drum, a journey through past events and daydreams begins for him. Memories wash over him—all those encounters between laundry drums and the scent of fabric softener.
Between whimsical situations, touching moments, and surprising encounters, reality and fantasy blur. This laundromat has seen it all.
After about a year and a half of intensive work on masks and puppets, as well as a process of theatrical research and development, fundwerk—Laboratory for Mask and Puppet Theater—presents its new production.
