Poetry slam is performed poetry—multifaceted and lively.

This is where comedians, poets, storytellers, and people who simply want to present their own original works to an audience come together.

The Freiburg poetry slam scene offers a diverse range of activities with regularly scheduled slam events.

Starting in September 2024, the Newcomer Slam will kick off at the Haus der Jugend. Here, up-and-coming talent can take the stage and try their hand at performing. People of all ages are warmly welcome to sign up for this “open list” poetry slam.
