800 days to the east

Valentin Macke sets off at the age of 21, without a return ticket, without a plan. For over two years, he hitchhiked eastwards - through Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, the Middle East to India and Myanmar. Then back from Pakistan through Afghanistan, Kazakhstan and Russia on a folding bike. The adventure leads from jungles and deserts to high mountains over 6,000 meters.
