Martin Leonhardt had in mind a grand journey with no set timeframe or fixed destination when he left his home in Franconia in October 2013. He didn’t want a limited break, but rather unlimited freedom and the pure experience of life. He quit his job, sold all his belongings, said goodbye to family and friends, and set off for South America on his motorcycle.
