MUNDOLOGIA: Brittany

Deep in the west of Europe lies a region shaped by the sea: Brittany. Countless lighthouses dot the coast, endless sandy beaches move to the rhythm of Europe's highest tides, islands such as Ouessant and Belle-Ile defy the force of winter storms, fishing villages duck into deep bays and towns such as Saint-Malo, Brest and Concarneau tell of the life of people on and with the sea.

Hartmut Krinitz spent more than a year in Brittany and combines first-class photography, authentic music, literary excerpts, original sounds and well-founded live commentary to create a unique style in his multivision.
