MUNDOLOGIA: On the peaks of the world

A life for the extreme

When Peter Habeler and Reinhold Messner became the first to climb Mount Everest without oxygen, they went down in history. Even today, the 83-year-old doesn't stay in the valley for long. In this exciting and moving talk, he talks about his lifelong passion for extreme climbing and mountaineering on the steepest walls and highest mountains in the world.

Peter Habeler gives a stirring account of his love for mountain sports, of companions and challenges, great successes, but also setbacks. Experience half a century of alpine history!
