MUNDOLOGIA: Alpine foothills - My wild homeland
Magical light moods, untouched nature, a deep connection to his homeland - photographer Bernd Römmelt presents an impressive homage to the Bavarian Alpine foothills and the Bavarian Alps in his new lecture.
Just a few kilometers south of Munich, a world begins that is reminiscent of Canada, Norway or Alaska - and yet is unmistakably Bavarian. The Bavarian Alpine foothills with their rolling hills, clear lakes, ancient moors and imposing mountain ranges are one of the most diverse natural landscapes in Europe. The Pfaffenwinkel, Isarwinkel, Fünf-Seen-Land, Blaues Land and Werdenfelser Land lie here like pearls on a string - regions full of history, character and natural wonders. Audience favorite Bernd Römmelt has accompanied this landscape with his camera for over two decades. The result is an impressive presentation that shows the foothills of the Alps in all their beauty and originality - wild, flooded with light, mysterious. An evening for all those who are looking for something special in the familiar, for nature enthusiasts, photography lovers and all those who want to be touched by the beauty of southern Bavaria.
