Mia Pittroff - I'm Going to Backfire
While the world is spinning to the right faster than the yogurt culture in Paleo granola, and the news landscape is more volatile than an ICE train’s departure track at the onset of winter, for Mia Pittroff, much remains the same for now: she’s still her parents’ daughter, the mother of her children, a native of Franconia, and a devoted amateur Berliner. Extremes are still too extreme for her; instead, she celebrates mediocrity:
Kids? Sure, but not too good-looking ones.
An electric car? Sure, but please wash it in the driveway every Saturday.
And her dream man should be going bald.
She still firmly believes in democracy—but not during family vacations on Rügen.
Her humor is quick-witted, but her speech is slow-paced.
Too silly for cabaret, too subtle for comedy. Too “woke” for the provinces and too provincial for the capital. She uses gender-neutral language, but in dialect. She’ll take off—but only backward!
“Behind her chatty tone lies a sharpness that’s exactly what you want from good cabaret!”
