Matilde Keizer - Lasagne in bed

In her first solo program "Lasagne in bed", Matilde takes us on a journey through her life. We experience her as an Italian in the capital, her "career" as an actress and her cultural misunderstandings - and all this with a mother that some might not wish for.
But you are lucky enough to be able to laugh at this suffering. With self-irony, Matilde can deal with anything life throws at her, and with every laugh you feel lighter. No topic is too good for Matilde and everyone will find something to smile, giggle or laugh about - so much so that it almost hurts a little. The balancing act between pain and humor. "Lasagna in bed" is something wrong, but it's too good to stop. It's the tomato sauce stain on the comforter. It's gratinated cheese for breakfast: it's simply everything you wouldn't normally dare to allow.

Matilde Keizer is an Italian comedienne and actress. After 18 years in Rome and five years in New York, she now lives in Berlin. She is a trained actress, gives workshops for stand-up and acting (for Filiz Tasdan, Philipp Uckel, Daniel Luis, Maria Clara Groppler, Kristina Bogansky, among others) and has been doing improv comedy based on the American example at the Comedy Café Berlin for eight years.
