Due to a scheduling conflict involving Martha Argerich, we have unfortunately had to postpone our concert with Martha Argerich & Jura Margulis, originally scheduled for March 16, 2026, at the Konzerthaus Freiburg. The new concert date is Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., at the Konzerthaus Freiburg. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
Your tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date and do not need to be exchanged. Simply bring your tickets with you to the rescheduled concert.
If you are unable to attend the rescheduled concert, you may return your tickets to the ticket office where you purchased them.

Experiencing music together—Martha Argerich is a pianist for whom new categories would have to be invented. The power and artistry of this Argentine pianist, who enchants audiences at every stage of her life with her stunning charisma, constantly demand new superlatives. At the same time, she has resisted the circus surrounding her talent since childhood. The music world has adapted to this unconventional, once-in-a-century talent and gratefully accepts whatever this “tigeress” at the keyboard is willing to offer. For Martha Argerich, playing by her own rules means, among other things, that for a long time she has made music only with those people with whom she feels joy.
Among them is Jura Margulis, the internationally sought-after soloist and renowned educator, well known to Freiburg audiences through numerous concerts. What an electrifying experience to witness his arrangement of Mussorgsky’s “A Night on Bald Mountain” performed by four pianists on two grand pianos!
The Stuttgarter Nachrichten wrote about a concert by the duo in mid-February 2026 featuring the program to be performed at Albert: “Storms of enthusiasm … Martha Argerich finds in Jura Margulis a kindred spirit ready to harmonize … A delightful event!” We’re really looking forward to it!
