Margulis Piano Trio - Classical matinee

Born in Germany into a well-known Russian family of musicians, the Margulis Piano Trio stands for classical music of the highest standard. Their performances at numerous music festivals, including Hamburg, Lugano and St. Petersburg, and their recordings, including on the CD "Argerich and friends", 2015 live from the Lugano Festival on Warner Classics. In 2021 the MPT was invited by Martha Argerich to make their debut at the Leitzhalle Hamburg, they were mentored by Vitaly Margulis, Ivry Gitlis, Sergei Babayan, and Pavel Vernikov.

At the ZMF they will play a classical program with works by Schubert, Saint-Saëns, Ravel and Mussorgsky as part of the last matinee.
