In this course, we look at the diversity of flowers, the abundance of colors, the splendor of shapes. Nature in spring is like a resurrection: bright green, orange, purple, yellow, blue, red. Depicting this glorious nature is the content of this course, it can be done concretely in something flowery or abstractly in colorfulness - anything is possible. Pigments are dissolved with a special binder in order to apply them to the canvas in a translucent, transparent or partially opaque manner. We will get to know different techniques, e.g. wet on wet, dabbing with a cloth, as well as working with different brush sizes and types of brushwork. In a safe space, without judgment, more creativity and spontaneity can arise in the painting process. Material costs of €40 will be settled directly with the course instructor on site and include two self-made and primed canvases (60 x 60 cm and 60 x 50 cm), the required pigments and the special binder. Brushes will be provided if required. Additional canvases can be purchased on request.
