“A tribute to the love between siblings and the indomitable power of art.” — Annika Büsing
Juna is seventeen and, despite her fading eyesight, is determined to become a painter at any cost. Martha is thirteen and is doing everything she can to step out of the shadow of her talented sister. The two barely exchange a word. But then Juna’s prognosis worsens, and they realize that only together can they stand up to the world. With sensitivity and power, Cora Wucherer tells the story of an insatiable hunger for life and of a summer that changes everything.
