Art break: The Malterer or Weiberlisten carpet

During the short guided tour of the Augustian museum, Beate Reutter, art education officer, presents the pictorial program of the early 14th century tapestry. Here, four men known from history do not fare so well: Samson, Aristotle, Virgil and Iwein are each subject to a female ruse. Participation costs the regular entrance fee.
