Karlsplatz (Karl's square)

Due to its perfect location between the Stadtgarten and the historic old town, Karl's square is the ideal starting point for your tour of Freiburg.

From here you can walk to the cathedral, the Schlossbergbahn (funicular), the Erpeldenkmal and many other sights. Karl's square offers parking for cars in the adjacent underground parking garage, as well as parking spaces for coaches.
