As the warm summer evenings arrive, JAZZsummer @ Frederics moves outdoors. Our terrace becomes a stage for a relaxed evening filled with smooth grooves, beautiful melodies, and South American sounds.
Bossa nova serves as the starting point, but the music doesn’t stop there. Blending Brazilian classics, jazz, samba, and surprising musical detours, a fluid sound emerges that combines lightness and depth.
Max Zentawer, one of the region’s most distinguished jazz guitarists, will be our guest. For many years, he has devoted himself with great passion to Brazilian music, blending the delicate rhythms of bossa nova with the harmonic openness of modern jazz. Together with Paul Brossmer on double bass and Niko Halfmann on saxophone, they form a purely acoustic trio that creates space for sound, melody, and spontaneous musical encounters.
An evening for everyone who loves music that tells stories, celebrates the moment of improvisation, and is the perfect fit for a summer evening under the open sky.
