In the realm of woodpeckers - excursion at Schönberg

The Schönberg near St. Georgen is home to several species of woodpecker. With a bit of luck, we will hear the great spotted woodpecker drumming and the green woodpecker laughing. We may also encounter other of these pretty fellows and some of their feathered neighbors. In any case, we will be out and about for a few hours in their habitats near the Jesuit castle and on the way to Schneeburg. Even if we hear and see little, after our excursion we will know how to tell them apart without seeing them and what significance the number 25 has here. - Registration required.
