HUZA Fusion
HUZA Fusion is an innovative music project that brings together musical traditions from Rwanda and European classical music in a contemporary dialogue. Five musicians from Rwanda—playing traditional percussion, the inanga (bowl zither), and modern instruments—join forces with pianist Konstantin Dupelius to develop a new, cross-genre musical language. Drawing on East African rhythms, traditional playing styles, and motifs from European classical music, they create new musical and performative forms and a contemporary fusion sound through improvisation, composition, and dance.
