Helmut Dold and his Dixie Quartet

The well-known Kuhbach entertainer and jazz trumpeter Helmut “De Hämme” Dold will kick off the new year 2027 with his Dixie Quartet here at the Alemannische Bühne—in style, with great fanfare!
Wonderfully fresh, lively music from the ’20s and ’30s, beautifully frivolous jazz hits like “Aunt Paula Lies in Bed and Eats Tomatoes” or “I’m on Good Terms with Ruth,” rarely heard highlights of old-time jazz, plus Helmut Dold’s almost legendary announcements, little anecdotes, and jokes from his Baden joke books.
