Gröger's finale - farewell concert

After 36 years, the visionary and pioneer of jazz choirs is ending his tenure as Artistic Director of the Freiburg Jazz Choir with a grand farewell concert at the Konzerthaus (concert hall) in Freiburg.

Anyone who knows Bertrand Gröger knows that this farewell concert will not be an ordinary "off-the-peg" concert. The program will be colourful, exciting and is Gröger's attempt to musically reflect 36 years of Jazzchor Freiburg in just over three hours (including intermission)! On stage will be: The Jazzchor Freiburg, the long-standing band with Simone Bollini, Roberto Koch and Michael Heidepriem, the Norwegian singer Torun Eriksen, jazz trumpeter Joo Kraus, an alumni choir as well as Senior Jazzchor & Junior Jazzchor.
