Götz Frittrang - Idolatry

Business trip, company bike, disciplinary complaint. Life is when someone always wants something, and then you’re dead. We do our job, we fulfill our duty, we meet expectations. But is that enough? And do we even want that?
Götz Frittrang gets philosophical and offers to filter current issues through his lens. Why can’t you even be safe from political missteps while grocery shopping, and how do you take a stand on global conflicts without risking a social media firestorm? How do we finally achieve gender equality—and will my wife ever take out the trash for a change?

Götz Frittrang is back, and he’s looking ahead—by looking back. Or inward. Whatever works. A journey not only into his own mind but also into yours—one that will leave you both amused and surprised by the end. Götz leaves his finger-wagging at home and focuses on his core expertise: escapism in difficult times.
Look forward to a visually stunning storytelling performance by the master. Excellent cabaret from the charming stage berserker.
