The German government is planning a reform of statutory health insurance. The plans include higher co-payments for prescription drugs, restrictions on free family co-insurance and lower subsidies for dentures. The announced cost-cutting measures are causing uncertainty among many policyholders and are also being discussed critically by health economists.
As part of the "Ataya" series of events, the DenkAnstoß project from Schwere(s)Los! e.V. invites you to an open discussion about the possible consequences of the reform. After a short input from trade unionist Leon Borgmeister, there will be room for exchange and discussion. The event will be accompanied by the traditional Senegalese tea ceremony Ataya, prepared by Fatou Ndiaye. Valéria Silva Fekete will moderate the event.
