Fundamental Things
In his book *Fundamental Things*, to be published on September 24, Joachim Bauer offers a perspective of hope in times of crisis.
We are in the midst of a storm of profound disintegration: the political order is being undermined, Western democracies are faltering, and traditional institutions are eroding. The world of work, family structures, and the individual themselves are coming under pressure from digital acceleration and sensory overload. People feel increasingly alienated and disoriented. What is still true? What remains valid? At this moment in history, Joachim Bauer offers a return to our roots and a reaffirmation of our values. Ten concise chapters on essential things that must not be lost—Fundamental Things, in fact, that preserve cohesion, peace, and humanity. A compendium of Joachim Bauer’s core messages—published, not coincidentally, on the occasion of his 75th birthday.
