"Five minutes of silence" by Leo Meier

Three people who didn't know each other before are together in a room that they can no longer leave - in other words, a "closed society" (don't confuse the two!). They decide to simply say nothing for a few minutes, to endure five minutes of silence. Listen to the birds in the branches, listen to your own heartbeat, something like that.
But why can't you do that? The silence is already gone, and you agree on at least one thing: hell, it's the others (still don't get them mixed up!).
The world out there needs to be improved, but how?

Leo Meier achieves a minor miracle with "fünf minuten stille". With lightness and liberating humor, Meier creates a self-critical, absurd and entertaining drama for our times.

Leo Meier, born in 1995, actor and playwright, won the Audience Award and the SWR2 Radio Play Prize at the Heidelberg Stückemarkt 2022 for his debut play "zwei herren von real madrid".
