Guided Tour: Dreams of the Future
How open can a museum be—and what role might it play in society in the future? During the guided tour at the Augustian museum, participating students from the Department of Empirical Cultural Studies will present the exhibition “Future(t) Dreams—Museum in Transition” in the FREI_Raum. They’ll recount the building’s eventful history from the Middle Ages to the present day—interwoven with personal stories about the city, unusual museum explorations, and their own ideas. All participants are invited to share their own visions of the future and wishes—for a museum that opens its doors even wider to everyone. Participation costs 12 euros for general admission and 8 euros for reduced admission. Tickets are available in the online shop and at the museum ticket office. The meeting point is the foyer at the Haus der Graphischen Sammlung, Salzstraße 32/34.
Admission is free for those under 27, members of the Friends of the Museum, and holders of a Freiburg Pass, Family Card, or Museums-Pass-Musées.
