Guided Tour: Dreams of the Future
How open can a museum be—and what impact might it have on society in the future? During the guided tour at the Augustian museum, participating students from the Department of Empirical Cultural Studies will present the exhibition “Future(t) Dreams—Museum in Transition” in the FREI_Raum. They’ll recount the building’s eventful history from the Middle Ages to the present—interwoven with personal stories about the city, unusual museum explorations, and their own ideas. All participants are invited to share their own visions and hopes for the future—for a museum that opens its doors even more widely to everyone. Participation costs 12 euros for general admission and 8 euros for reduced-rate admission. Tickets are available in the online shop and at the museum ticket office. The meeting point is the foyer at the House of the Graphic Arts Collection, Salzstraße 32/34.
Admission is free for those under 27, members of the Friends of the Museum, and holders of a Freiburg Pass, Family Card, or Museums-Pass-Musées.
