Freiburg can also do trails.

On April 18, 2026, the Freiburg Trailrun will celebrate its premiere - a new trail running event in the Black Forest. You can expect narrow paths, steep climbs, technical downhills and honest meters of altitude. Challenging, close to nature, uncompromisingly trail-oriented.

Not a big off-the-peg event.

But: real terrain. Real challenge. Real running.

Distances:

Kybfelsen Trail - approx. 16 km, high trail content, also for ambitious beginners

Schauinsland Trail - approx. 35 km, many meters in altitude, technically demanding
