Energetic sound and pure joy of playing are the ingredients with which FATCAT 2024 once again comes up with. For their latest album MORE SUGAR, the 8-piece ensemble has made extensive use of the musical candy store. MORE SUGAR captivates the dance-mad funk community with sparkling dance beats and glittering disco vibes. As with their earworm "I feel good" (2020), Kenny Joyner's inimitable voice drizzles like honey into the ear canals of an audience condemned to a permanent grin and an insatiable desire to dance. As support acts alongside artists such as Chaka Khan, Jamie Cullum, Anastacia and La Brass Banda and as headliners at festivals across Europe, FATCAT have amassed a wealth of live experience in over 500 concerts and thrilled audiences with their captivating performances. FATCAT's 2017 performance at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival was even worth the band releasing their own "Live in Montreux" album. With an almost unchanged line-up since 2013, FATCAT has always remained true to its funky sound. Even if their arrangements have become more stylistically confident and mature over the years, FATCAT knows how to convince above all through charm and undisguised authenticity.
