With the narrative performance "Held:innen #1, der kranke Fuß", the ensemble
Ra!Ra!Ra! and the storytelling company P.A.N.K wander through the story material surrounding Philoktet.
Philoctetus, the neglected hero, left behind on an island, no longer usable... or is he? Stuck on an island for 10 years with his ailing foot and, caught between fate and fatalism, practises thoughts of revenge. Are ancient superstars still justifiable role models today or are they immovable archetypal patterns? Are the violent battles and the use of propaganda still valid standards today? On the other hand, do we even want a heroism that is quiet, ethical and humane?
