Easy Printing - Learn to print linocuts with LEKAI ART

Immerse yourself in the creative world of printmaking! In this workshop, you will learn the basics of linocut. We will show you step by step how to create your own works of art using simple techniques and lots of fun. Let your imagination run wild and discover the joy of printing - at the end you will take home several unique prints that bear your personal signature!

And this is how it works:

The workshop begins with a short introduction to linocut. After you have transferred your design to the linoleum, you will learn the basic cutting techniques with carving tools and can apply them to your linoleum plate straight away. We will then show you the best way to color your cut printing block and what you need to consider in order to produce successful prints by hand and/or with the printing press.

Who is it suitable for?

The workshop is suitable for absolute beginners as well as for those who already have some experience and would like to improve their linocut skills. Participation possible from the age of 12.
