With a focus on art history and urban history (emphasis on the Middle Ages to the Baroque), you will gain a systematic insight into the development of urban life in Freiburg, guided by a native of Freiburg, a real 'Bobbele' (as those born in Freiburg are called in the local dialect). Even in a modern cityscape, there are overt and covert traces of the past that have made Freiburg what it is today: a lovable, lively and art-historically rich Zähringer city. The aim of these guided tours is to uncover these traces and bring them together to form a whole.
