The Freiburg Bach Cantata Series

Ensemble Context invites you to a concert with two further cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach
Cantata BWV 107 "Was willst du dich betrüben" and
Cantata BWV 45 "Es ist dir gesagt, Mensch, was gut ist".

While BWV 107 unfolds a calm, intimate sound world with its closed chorale concept, BWV 45 captivates with its dramatic structure and the alternation between choir and soloists.

Thomas Seedorf will once again provide exciting insights behind the scenes and into the creation of the cantatas. A cordial invitation!
