DIE BEWEGUNG - Public training

In times of overlapping crises and tight budgets, sport, art and social issues are increasingly being played off against each other. Where one is strengthened, the other is supposed to give way. We are picking up on this propaganda and, together with the performance artist Julian Warner, are bringing the ultimate competition "sport versus art" to the city of Freiburg in an ironic and broken way. Julian Warner is an expert in large-scale spectacles in public spaces that performatively negotiate socially relevant issues. Freiburg residents: get ready. In DIE BEWEGUNG, everyone is in demand. In energetic training sessions, important Freiburg cultural locations will be challenged in a sporting way and socially reassessed: with strength, excitement and momentum. For four days, training, action and collective experience are condensed into a total work of art. At the climax, all participating sports groups come together in the FT 1844 e.V. stadium for an exhilarating sports and art spectacle.
