Train your democratic skills! In this interactive workshop, you will experience how democratic coexistence can be actively shaped - in everyday life, in exchanges and wherever different perspectives come together. Democracy Fitness is based on the assumption that democracy does not only take place in parliaments, but above all between us humans. The good news is that the necessary skills can be trained, just like muscles in sport. So let's get going! We will train selected "democracy muscles" in short "work-outs". Everyone can take part, it's not physically demanding, but relaxed and entertaining. The protected setting invites you to try out new things. At the end, we reflect together on what we can take away for our everyday lives. You experience: Democracy starts with ourselves - through openness, courage and the willingness to listen to each other and take each other seriously. And that can be really fun! Course leader: Dr. Popovic, Nathalie. Dr. Nathalie Popovic is a project manager for citizen participation and a certified democracy fitness trainer. Based on her moderation and participation experience, she uses Democracy Fitness to specifically strengthen the capacity for dialog and democracy.
