Sachiko Furuhata, born in Yokohama, made her debut in November 2017 at Carnegie Hall in New York and received a standing ovation. Since then, she has performed in various major concert halls, including the San Francisco Herbst Theatre, Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, the Berlin Philharmonie, and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. As a soloist, she has performed with various orchestras, including the Russian State Philharmonic and the German Radio Philharmonic, among others. She is one of the most popular and sought-after pianists in Europe.
