Brazilian Zouk Quickstarter in Freiburg – Four Hours to Get You Started
Want to try Brazilian Zouk, start a new hobby, and meet some nice people along the way? Our Quickstarter is designed for anyone with no prior experience who wants to learn the dance from scratch.
You can come alone—you don’t need a regular dance partner. During class, we switch dance partners regularly. This lets you meet different people, practice with various partners, and easily connect with our community.
— What to Expect in the Quickstarter
Over four intensive hours, we’ll build the most important fundamentals in a clear, step-by-step way. You’ll have plenty of time to practice, can ask questions at any time, and will receive personalized feedback.
It’s not about memorizing as many steps as possible. We want you to truly understand posture, connection, and movement so you feel more confident while dancing right from the start.
— The Schedule
From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we’ll work together on posture, connection, initial movements, musicality, and the basics of leading and following. Doors open at 1:45 p.m.
After the Quickstarter, you’ll know the most important fundamentals and have a solid foundation for our Basic 2 classes.

The entire Quickstarter costs 65 € per person.

Please come in comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. We’ll show you everything else when you arrive.

We’re Alexej and Florence from A&F Studio – Brazilian Zouk Freiburg. We explain movements clearly, repeat them patiently, and take the time to answer your questions. It’s important to us that you feel comfortable while learning and as part of the group.
— Here’s how you can keep dancing afterward
After the Quickstarter, you can build on your fundamentals in our regular classes. In addition, A&F Studio offers dance classes ranging from beginner to advanced levels, workshops, boot camps, private lessons, and “6 Hours of Zouk” – Intensive Group Private Classes, Modules 1 through 6.
