Learn Brazilian Zouk in Freiburg – Dance Classes for All Levels

Would you like to dance Brazilian Zouk, solidify your fundamentals, or improve your technique? In our classes, you’ll learn in a structured, easy-to-understand way with plenty of personalized feedback.

You can come alone—you don’t need a regular dance partner. We switch dance partners regularly during class. This way, you’ll practice with different people, meet nice folks, and easily connect with our community.

6:00–7:30 p.m.: Basic 2

7:30–8:00 p.m.: Open Social Dance

8:00–10:00 p.m.: Intermediate/Advanced

Doors open at 5:45 p.m.

In both classes, we combine precise technique with leading and following, body awareness, musicality, and fluid movements. We don’t just explain what you’re dancing—we also explain why a movement works.

— Which class is right for you?

Basic 2 is right for you if you already know the basics of Brazilian Zouk and want to build on that foundation with confidence.

Intermediate/Advanced is designed for experienced dancers who want to deepen their technique, movement quality, and understanding.

Are you starting from scratch and have no prior experience? Then we recommend you try our Quickstarter first. There, you’ll learn the most important basics from the very beginning and will be well prepared for Basic 2 afterward.

— Tickets and limited spots

Basic 2 costs €25 per person. Intermediate/Advanced costs €30. You can book both classes together as a combo for €45.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. We’ll show you everything else when you arrive.

We’re Alexej and Florence from A&F Studio – Brazilian Zouk Freiburg. We’ll take the time to answer your questions, repeat movements at a leisurely pace, and make sure you feel comfortable while learning and as part of the group.
